If you don't mind subtitles and want to try out a foreign TV mini-series in the crime drama domain, this one if for you. I have watched the first two seasons. And this one is just as good and gripping. Recommended.

Excellent series. Good characters and stories. Flows nicely out of season 2.
But the main character's attempt to play a person with Aspergers is not very well done and can even be annoying to watch. She's more of a robotic Mr. Spock than someone with any level of Aspergers.

Two intricate plot lines weave through the excellent, compelling Series 3 episodes. Well-matched with a new Danish partner Henrik who is her investigative equal, Saga must find a serial killer while dealing with stressful issues in both past and present. Saga and Henrik are troubled souls who need each other. We care about them and become emotionally engaged with their anguish. The ending is fitting and sets up Series 4. Five star writing and acting at its best.

Just as good as Seasons 1 and 2...Sofia Helin is a great actress as were all the cast. Hopefully there is a season 4...

Just in case we thought seasons 1 & 2 were not complicated enough, the plot and character assortment in this third outing have upped the ante on complexity. Sofia Helin ('Saga') continues to pull off an astounding performance, but her new Danish sidekick (and bedmate) can't match the humour and presence of her former colleague ('Martin'). It's not up to the level season 1, but still intelligent, and with the bonus of some lovely residential architecture. The final scenes set up the plot for season 4, which has already been broadcast in Scandinavia.

The actor of Martin didn't want to act in Season 3, and that's why the director put Martin in jail at the end of S2.
Saga's car is of 1977.
The last season will be aired in Denmark and Sweden next January.

I absolutely love this entire series! The writing is excellent, the characters are fascinating and the mysteries are mysterious! Plus, of course, Saga's car - my husband 'hearts' Saga's car :)

What happened with Martin? There are just hints throughout, but nothing that really informs.

Highly recommended. And Saga's new partner does not disappoint.
