DVD - 2015 | Widescreen

Rate this:
Documentary/docudrama revealing the events behind Kurt Cobain's death as seen through the eyes of Tom Grant, the private investigator hired by Courtney Love in 1994 to track down her missing husband only days before his deceased body was found at their Seattle home. Cobain's death was ruled a suicide by the police (a reported self-inflicted gunshot wound), but doubts have circulated for twenty years as to the legitimacy of this ruling, especially due to the work of Mr. Grant. Includes cimenatic re-creations, interviews with key experts and witnesses, including forensic pathologist Cyril H. Wecht and former Seattle chief of police Norm Stamper, and the examination of official artifacts from the case.

Interesting look at the death investigation of Kurt Cobain. It has some shocking revelations about what happened, and wasn't reported.

An eye-opening documentary covering some serious blunders made by some high ranking individuals in the Seattle police department, e.g. not releasing photographs to other law enforcement officials; ruling the death a suicide w/o a thorough forensic investigation; allowing the remains to be cremated within less than a week, etc. etc... After watching this I absolutely question the gold digger Courtney Skank's involvement -- with her ex in the picture, her filing a missing person's report claiming Kurt was suicidal when others in his inner circle adamantly deny that he was, Kurt's request to his lawyer to have Skankie removed from his will... and she got away with *everything*. Speculation? Reopen the case!

Flashback to 1995. I'm at Lollapalooza when Courtney Love takes stage. "Take that shirt off! I don't want to see that fucker's face!" she shouted at someone in the front row wearing a Kurt Cobain shirt. Then she asks us if we'd like to see their daughter, which of course the audience goes wild and does. Then she says she can't bring her on stage or child services will take her away from her. Then she stage dives, comes back up completely naked accusing the audience of stripping her clothes from her (which would have been impossible - she was lying and she shed her clothes on purpose). At that moment, I was sick. "She did it," I thought. This documentary thinks so too. But this is a mystery we will probably never have answers to.

I rented this DVD and would love to watch this again!, This really proves that Courntey and her ex Cali had something to do with Kurt Cobain's death. A couple thoughts his sucuide note was not his hand writing, Kurt at the time was going to divorce Courtney, Kurt had 3 X the herion in hisbody compared to 3 people taking it found in the autosophy. My opinion Courtney wanted the money.
