Pedestrian mystery. Woman is pursued from New Orleans to Montana where she becomes a suspect in two murders.
This was a page turner once characters were developed. Suspects galore and an ending that was just even if a tad unbelievable. Not for the squeamish.
This was the first of Lisa Jackson's that I've read. I won't be reading any more of hers. Her writing was just a touch uninteresting, the detectives were uninteresting & it appeared that all that writing was just stuff to fill up space. I can't recommend this book.
Interesting plot, though as usual this author continues to have females in her story constantly berate themselves with stupid phrases like "get over yourself" when they have legitimate fears for their well-being. It annoyed me so badly I almost stopped reading it right near the beginning, but I didn't and in the long run the book was okay.
