I think this is a great book for people who are learning about what it means to live with chronic illness and are looking for hope and reassurance. As someone who has been living with chronic illness for 12 years, there was nothing new for me. In addition, the book assumes a certain level of financial security and freedom that many people with chronic illness do not have. But overall, a good book with good recommendations and practical advice. I would recommend it to someone newly diagnosed.
