I liked this Audiobook CD by Woods, Stuart. I like this author and his style. It is too violent and sexual for children to listen to. This is a murder mystery sleuthing story. The twists and turns in the story keep you interested. In a previous book, KL was married to Simon Rule (SR). SR and KL had one son named Peter Rule (PR). In this book, Fred Flicker (FF) is S's Factotum. Dino (D) is married to Vivian (V) . Vivian is working with Mike Freeman (MF) . Will Lee (WL) is USA President. Kate Lee (KL) works with Lance. KL has become pregnant during her campaign. Dino becomes The Commissioner Of N.Y.. Anne Keaton (AK) is working with KL in her campaign to become the DP Leader. A is S's lover. The Errington Hotel (EH) has been up and running for some time. Stone (S) & MF part of the management for the EH. Peter Barrington (PB) and Hattie Patrick (HP) are together. Ben (B) and Jessa (J) are together. P, H, B, J all work together at the movie studio. P & B both bought residential property adjacent to each other recently. P & B treat it as one property for socializing together. The USA Democratic Party DP decide to have a convention at the EH. WL, KL, A (Group B) are all attending the conference. D & V are at the EH with S having a vacation. P,H, B, E, D, S (Group A) all socialize together. WL, KL, A joins Group A in the evenings. Sam Merry Weather is running KL's campaign. KL has a tight race in who will be the DP Leader vote. A written threat was sent to the Secret Service which are the White House Security (WHS) threatening KL. The CIA and WHS and MF are working together at the EH to keep everyone safe. It was one of the SS team member, Mervin Beem (MB), acting alone against KL. M. Beem was caught before he hurt anyone. Ed Eagle (EE), a lawyer, is staying at the EH with S. Minola is running the EH. EE is married to an actress Suzanna Wild (SW). SW gets a new contract for a film as an actress with P & B. EE's ex-wife, Barbara Eagle (BE), continues to try to kill him as she has in earlier books. BE hires the movie studio's gun man, Greg Heddy (GH), as killer to kill EE by causing a plane accident. GH is killed at the plane when the bomb blows up to early. Thus, EE is safe from this hired killer. Billy Barnet (BB, formally Teddy Fay) is keeping an eye on the actions of the studio gun man, GH. Charles Grovenor (CG) is the spouse of BE. BE owns all the money, and CG is reluctant to stand up to BE. BE is a bully with CG. CG throws BE over the high patio killing BE at the end of the book. CG knew BE was a murderer before he married her. CG owns and runs a car sales business. Also, in this book FF stops someone from shooting the Mayor at a social event. Mike Freeman (MF) has been dating Charlene Joiner (CJ). CJ is an actress at the movie studio. CJ is competing with SW for the same roles offered by P. BB is married to Betsy Barnett (BB). Both BB's attended the social events.

Just another book trying to make all democratic supporters out to be stinking wealthy immoral people that sleep around and like politicians that cheat on their wives. Stone Barrington has become a liberals worst nightmare. And what about the abortion loving chief of staff?

I love Stuart Woods but this story really did not have a story to tell. The Stone character has always lived a life many envy but this story is sort of silly instead of being a good mystery. Oh well, I love sStuart Woods and I hope he will bring a bit of realism back to his characters.
