I too read this book over thirty years ago. It was the one that got me hooked on Jeffery Archer, I've read all of the rest of his. I seldom re-read a book but I just finished reading this one again. It is a wonderful read.

The first timeI read this book was 30 years ago.. I've read it 4 times... It's my ALL TIME FAVORITE NOVEL!
The story is awesome and you really get attached and involved with the characters
I lent out my original copy and did not get it back so a few years ago I found a first edition copy for sale in the UK.. And purchased it.. It's now a most prized possession!
A fantastic read.. You won't be disappointed!
