It's got all the buttons, and even a number of important questions, but possibly the complexity of the subject makes this movie unmemorable.

Lorenzo's Oil is a 1992 American drama film directed by George Miller.
It is based on the true story of Augusto and Michaela Odone, who conducted a relentless search for a cure for their son Lorenzo's adrenoleukodystrophy (ALD)---a disease so rare that nobody is working on a cure.
It is a horror to watch the son's health decline, and the background music---Mozart's Ave verum corpus---would exacebate your pain while watching his agony.
This is an immensely moving and mind-boggling movie.

It is much more than a movie. This powerful productions brings me a lot of tears and strength.

a mother's never-failing perseverance to save her child and the father's determination to study the intricacies of medical science to save their son from ALD's rare disease.
A very good movie and a superb performance by susan sarandon as the mother of the ailing boy.

Tugs at your heart strings and makes you think of all the good we could do if we all worked together instead of for one's own glory. Parents love is still the stongest force.
