I'm just a fan of the way Chris Yost writes Superior Spider Man. And this volume is a great arc of stories of Doc Ock's obsession to be the best by manipulating the worst of his (former?) compadres.

The last volume of the team-up series during the period when Doctor Octopus had hijacked Peter Parker's body. This features his plan to make use of old allies against their will taking a bad turn, as well as a team up with Daredevil and the Punisher, and ends with a flashback to a years ago cooperative venture with the Green Goblin that went wrong. The last story serves as a bridge of sorts for the events in the regular series collected in Goblin Nation, as we see Peter Parker restored to himself. The creative teams handle the stories well. The artists, while having different styles, nonetheless mesh well with each other, and that comes across in the collection.
