I have to say that this book wasn't what I thought it was going to be. I read the other two books in this series and thought this book would end differently. The relationship between Charlie, the ghost Michael, and Tony was a bit strange, to say the least. I did enjoy the suspenseful part of the book while trying to figure out who the bad guy is. But the ending left me hanging. I guess you have to use your imagination and let it end the way you want it to end. I will have to read the next book to see how it really ends.
My rating was barely a two. This is not heated passion as much as repetitious descriptions that had me skipping ahead. It was so boring that I finally gave up one third of the way through and returned it. Yikes. If you want something to help you sleep, this is it.
Dr. Charlotte Stone helps the FBI with their serial murder investigations. She is able to communicate with spirits of those who die violently which has helped bring justice for the families and the murderers. She's on another case with surprising results. This is part of a series but this can be read without reading the other books.
Disappointed with the ending, especially after reading three books in the series to see what happens with the main characters. Guess I have to read the 4th book to have all the questions answered. Agree with others that there is way too much repetition regarding the attraction between Charlie and Michael.
Charlie, and her ghost Michael, continue in their on and off relationship while solving another serial murder case. A little too much angst by Charlie in this book, just get on with the action! Twist at the end leaves me wanting more, again.
very disappoint, I skip to much pages end up not readin it, same story, borin, I hope this is her last book of the dr. charlotte series sory but it sucks...............
