Newton. Salk. Oppenheimer. Science can change the world, but can it go too far? Eleven-year-old Ellie has never liked change. She misses fifth grade. She misses her old best friend. She even misses her dearly departed goldfish. Then one day a strange boy shows up. He's bossy and cranky, but he looks a lot like Ellie's grandfather, a scientist who's always been slightly obsessed with immortality.

This book is an easy and relaxing read, good for ages 8 to 12. Ellie faces a number of changes throughout this book, whether she likes it or not. Highly recommended for listening

I liked the main character of this book because she always seemed to stay positive in the worst of situations. My favourite character was the grandpa in this story. He was my favourite because he was funny to read about when he had the appearance of a teenager but still acted like an old man. He was able to become a teenager again due to an invention the he created called the T. Melvin.
