The movie title is a misnomer; there isn’t much, if any, paranoia here. The plot is uninteresting and the romantic relationship, one big cliché.

This film was not boring, but it seemed contrived in some areas--such as unauthorized people entering high security so easily. There was not much high tech presented considering what the film was about, but the characters were well acted. The plot was a bit thin for modern standards, but it was pulled through due to an okay script. The movie seemed to come across as trying to be flashy keen, but that did not totally come across either except for A. Heard who comes across as a decent actress, and pulls her part through somehow, though the marginal script in those areas made her a bit contrived also.

way to predictable

Feels dark and depressing all the way through, until a sort of happy ending. But by then you don't really care.

Bad script, bad direction, mediocre acting.

O.k. movie. There are better movies about corporate corruption. The movie "Wall Street" comes to mind for me.

The jacket says this is a thriller but I found it so trite and boring that I could only jump from one dull scene to another. The girl , Amber Heard, should never be heard from again. The so called star, Liam Hemsworth, is just another young kid who probably thinks of himself as irresistible. I can resist him. Harrison Ford looks like a recluse who wears pajamas to formal functions. Gary Oldman is his usual self-aggrandizing nature.

Adam was a brilliant young tech wiz; wait, Adam was a confused young social climber; wait Adam was hopelessly trapped in a business espionage game; wait, Adam was smarter than the smartest people in tech world. Film should rewrite the "feel good" ending.

This movie was entertaining and interesting but not one of my favorite for this year. Not too bad---good performance. Very predictable but still entertaining.

JMGP Mar 19, 2014

Harrison Ford and Gary Oldman are interesting to watch in their roles; but, in the end, this film was essentially made for those who swoon over Liam Hemsworth. Ultimately, it is forgettable.
