This was a thought provoking book. It made me look at the Civil War in a different light. I learned some interesting information about the Mormon faith.

Really enjoyed this one! A little different since it deals with US history rather than European. The book causes you to think seriously about states rights, the idea of succession, etc. and is made even more powerful by the reveal in the "Author's Note".

I've read several of Berry's books. This was the least interesting and least well-written [characters did not feel real]. The basic premise was ludicrous. Even if the key document did exist, it was never ratified and never part of the actual Constitution.

Interesting idea but results in a book that is too talky without much action. Hard to stick with it. Not one of Berry's best.

The Lincoln myth was intriguing; the theory puts a whole new spin on the Civil War, and why it was fought. The Mormon angle was okay; I really don't know much about their religion and their ways. I though the stuff about Madison and the clues left behind pretty neat; it was reminiscent of the National Treasure movies. All in all a good read!

this book was okay but not up to Berry's usual standards. Got bored two thirds of the way through.

Typical Berry. This book should get the folks who believe in states rights and the right of secession very excited.

Not one of Steve Berry's best works. I was bored half way through and couldn't wait to finish the book.

I have read all of Steve Berry's works and this one I would have to rate more to the lower side. Story line is fine but does not pack the punch of his other works.
