Lucy Kelson, Chief Counsel for the Wade Corporation, one of New York City's top commercial real estate developers. She's a brilliant lawyer with a sharp, strategic mind. She also has an ulcer and doesn't get much sleep. It's not the job that's getting to her. It's her millionaire boss, George Wade. Handsome, charming and undeniably self-absorbed, he treats her more like a nanny than a Harvard Law grad and can barely choose a tie without her help. Now, after five years of calling the shots-on everything from his clothes to his divorce settlements, Lucy Kelson is calling it quits.

I like both Grant and Bullock, and yet I cannot recall more than fragments of this movie.

It hurts me to give a "very" good rating to a dated, cliched, predictable piece of romcom, but I have no choice, truth is I cackled like a witch all the way through. Much funnier than most of the modern comedies I've seen lately.

Kind of silly, but also quite funny and really one of the better rom coms out there. I’ve also never seen a romantic comedy that featured a scene where the male lead had to find a bathroom for the female lead who had a case of the shits.

Perfect. It was funny, with great actors/actresses.
