Great series of books! Love the walking dead! Including its movies, shows, and books.

This one being a follow up to the gripping and powerful Rise of the Governor is somewhat of a let down. You don't learn much at all about the Governor himself nor anything particularly impacting the universe. There are some particularly well written morbid bits that left my stomach churning but other than that I would recommend skipping this one if you've already seen season 3 of the TV series.

I love the series, purchased DVDs & have watched more than once. With Kirkman involved, I expected much better. Forced myself to read 30 pages, but couldn't take anymore.

I love the television drama series, ‘The Walking Dead.’ The Road to Woodbury - The Walking Dead was somewhat interesting. Not recommended for children whatsoever due to the content. Doctor-at-Bass! T. A.

Excellent book!!! Any walking dead fan would love this book.

Only character from the show is Martinez and the Govener.
BUT it will tied you over until the next episode. Does NOT give away anything from the actual show.

We start the story meeting a survivor named Lilly, who we follow along as she makes her way to Woodbury with a small group of survivors.

The governor has just taken control of Woodbury.

The story is well written, and moves along nicely, though in the end I was wondering, what about Bob.

Money-grab for the franchise. Pretty forgettable.

Being a Walking Dead fan, I thought this novel had the opportunity to be a great followup to "Rise of the Governor", but I think it fell short. The character development was ok, but the new characters seemed to be very un-interesting in comparison to the previous novel. My favorite characters in this book were Phillip and Martinez. I did enjoy the ending and it has me pondering where things will go next.
