First, there is a lot to like about this book. It has a lot of great recipes and information. It is easy to read & gives good directions.

The only negative about it, which I emailed the author about, was that she considers farro a gluten free grain, which it is NOT. Yes, it is an ancient grain, but it is still in the wheat family that those of us with gluten issues need to keep out of our food plan(s). Not having 'a reaction' isn't a good guide for anyone, since damage to the gut can happen without symptoms.

This having been said, I liked a lot of the other recipes and found that they were easy to accomplish & fun.
