PJ McGee is really clueless. It's very funny how he doesn't really recognize when he is in trouble. For example one time maybe PJ is breakdancing trying to show off in front of everyone and he hears everyone calling his name. He thinks they are cheering for him, but really they are trying to warn him about slipping over a spilled bucket of water. In this book, PJ is all about getting famous. He has this hat that he loves with all his life because it has Junior Mc Fiddle wore it in one of his music videos and it has his signature on it. PJ doesn’t even like Junior Mc Fiddle but because Mc Fiddle is famous he thinks he himself would be famous and popular if he wears this hat. The problem is, his hat goes missing during an out of control dance class. So he gets a new hat and copies Junior Mc Fiddles signature on it to make it look like it’s real. He is sure this person named Nasty Ned stole his hat because of some ‘messages’ on signs. But wait, his new hat goes missing too! He buys another hat and copies Junior Mc Fiddles signature on it just like the last one. This hat goes missing too! In the end, everything comes together and starts making sense of the whole scenario in the book and what happened to all his hats.
