An excellent analysis of the current problem, that the economy is unstable in the absence of continual growth, but a total lack of policy prescriptions to address the issue.
Without saying as much, the book makes clear the dilemma that is now becoming obvious, we need to revise how people get paid and get off the treadmill of keeping up with the Joneses. All the more poignant when the bottom 20% don't even have the wherewithal to get onto the treadmill.
