2.5 stars + Shahrukh Khan + 3D = 5 stars. With no 3D it's down to 4 stars. Khan is a great actor and cinegenic to boot. The film's a tad long, corny and/or melodramatic in more than a few places, but Khan and Co make it a mostly enjoyable 150 minutes in fact they almost turn the length into a plus, and Khan's naturalness make the corn/melodrama mostly fun too. That being said some of the comedy is VERY stupid and there is way too much of it, and it would have been more enjoyable at say 120 minutes, especially if what they cut was the comedy. That is what they should have done for the international release, but they didn't.

Despite all the negative reviews, I actually enjoyed the movie! The visual graphics were great, by Bollywood standards
