Kristina never expected to meet the monster when she was visiting her father. But her vacation in Albuquerque changed her life forever. Her love affair with Adam, her view on life, and most of all, her addiction to smoking, meth (crank), and the monster, transformed Kristina from a perfect good girl to Bree, a more daring side of Kristina brought out by the drugs. When Kristina goes back to Reno, she has to learn how to deal with her new side, Bree, and with the downfall of Kristina with the monster, Bree is the new girl on the block, ready to push Kristina through unimaginable circumstances.
17 year old Kristina is a great student and daughter. Her only problem is that she hasn't seen her father since she was 8. So when she flies away to spend time with him, she meets 'the monster' Crank. She finds herself doing it for all the wrong resons. By the time she's ready to go home her alter-ego Bree (the side of her that keeps her continuing to do drugs) has taken over and won't let her quit. But she's panicking, because she doesn't know where to get what she needs to feed her addiction. So she has to go over a month without Crank. But when the opportunities present themselves, Bree goes wild and pushes Kristina out, risking life and dignity. But when her actions get her pregnant Bree dissapears and Kristina is forced to do whats right. But what means more to her? Her addiction, or her unborn child?
