Little Nelly elephant has just enough info to figure out she's a mouse (grey, big ears, skinny tail) and attempts to live the life of a mouse with some very kind and patient mice. When they find her some big zoo mice Little Nelly is happy to go live with them (better food) but also to keep her littlest friends too.
This book points to the need for critical assessment of our information sources... because when we get it wrong things can be really silly. Lots of fun!

This case of mistaken identity makes a fun story and helps kids learn that unlikely friends can have a lot in common.
