Great for the 2014 Summer Reading Club!

BPLNextBestKids Nov 22, 2012

Charlie loves to solve problems and brain twisters, just for fun, until his friend Henry, suggests opening a detective agency and earning money by solving crimes. Their first few cases are simple but when their schoolmate, Scarlett, comes to report the theft of her grandfather’s parrot, things take an unexpected and dangerous turn. All Charlie’s skills are required to save himself, his friends and the bird. This book is full of interesting characters, especially Charlie’s grandmother. Reviewed by BPL volunteer EE.
