A lovely book with lots of silliness. Simple text and gorgeous illustration.

Adorable! A book about a silly magical fox who misunderstands everything his best friend says.

Cute book. Bright illustrations. A good read for starting school.

Perfectly cute and charming illustrations save this first-day-of-school picture book from mediocrity. The "pulling the wrong object out of the magic tail" gag is clever and makes my 3.5 y.o. giggle, but other than that, the plot is thin and the book seems a little forced. There are much better books available on this topic, I would recommend this one for Emma Dodd fans only.

My favourite part was when the girl Emily asked the fox to make an eraser, but he made an elephant! My favourite character was the fox because he was funny!

The book was about a little girl named Emily who was sitting in bed worrying because tomorrow was the first day of school. A few minutes after a magic fox climbed through her window and asked Emily what was wrong. She said that she was worried that she didn't have everything for school. Foxy said he could help! He made all kinds of silly things first but then he made everything Emily needed. Finally Emily asked, "What if nobody likes me?" Foxy said Emily didn't need magic. She would make pleanty of friends!
