hilarious in some parts and in a few embarassing or just plain foolish. His uncle and James make an interesting pair. fast, funny and a little on the crazy side makes it a nice read.

After proclaiming to the entire funeral congregation that his deceased father was “an ass”, sixteen year old Hercules Martino is sent away by his mother via train out to his uncle’s house in Baltimore for the last two weeks of summer. It is during that train ride that Hercules meets the Beautiful and Unattainable Woman…and through a series of twelve tasks, assigned to him by his Uncle Anthony to help pass the time and keep him from trouble, Hercules matures and learns a few life lessons that he won’t soon forget. At 121 pages, this is a very fast and funny read that takes maybe the amount of time in which you’d watch a movie. A perfect read to pass a short afternoon if you are ever looking to get into the scattered mind of a teenage boy, reading this is just like watching a teenage sit-com.
