After reading the back of this book, I was very intrigued. I was expecting it to be an edge-of-your-seat/ can't-put-it-down kind of teenage mystery/drama. However, it was a huge disappointment. Like another reviewer said, it was very confusing going from present tense to past tense. I also had trouble relating to the main character, Gabby, and all the characters, for that matter. They were all superficial, shallow and flat. I don't feel like any of the characters really grew or changed throughout the story, either. I almost set this book down so many times because it was honestly boring me to sleep, but kept reading only because I own a copy and figured I should finish it. The very end of the book was the only part I even somewhat enjoyed. Overall, I would definitely not recommend this book.

This book was not what I thought it would like at all. At some points it did get confusing and I did not really understand what was going on, for example when she was going back and forth from the present and her past life. I just have to say that the books was nothing like I planned it to be and it was a bit of a let down. Sorry
