Arriving in Jerusalem, Lourds discovers that his friend has been murdered and his apartment ransacked. The Temple Mount Code --- by Charles Brokaw. When you put the word “Code” in your title, your readership expects a lot. Yikes: Jeremy Brown. Brokaw pulls the promise off, though, when he spins a gripping yarn that drawas together a number of sure-fire ingredients: muslim extremists (of course); Mossadm (natch); archeology (can’t miss); ein ueber nazi (jawohl); and a bunch of Tibetan monks. Sounds like a latter day novel Christmas cake. He lwft out the Huk tribesmen and the NRA. But then you can’t have it all. Fun reading. Not meant to be morally enlightening. Just a good quickie. Every once and a while, quikies are good. Sort of like vanilla.

Entertaining and action filled novel about a secret and ancient document with dangerous implications for the modern world. This is the first of these books I've read. I did find myself wondering a couple of times if this series would have seen the light of day had it not been for the Da Vinci Code.

Charles Brokaw does it again! Thomas Lourds in action from the very first page!
