Canadian indie singer-songwriter Leslie Feist broke through with two breezy, incredibly catchy singles: "My Moon My Man" and "1234." Effortlessly melodic and anchored by her lovely voice, it was a sound that she probably could've coasted on. But her follow up to that album is "Metals," perhaps her most ambitious to due. It's not as immediately accessible as "The Reminder," but I think it rewards multiple listens. Recorded in Big Sur with producer Chilli Gonzalez.
