While Chelsea Handler isn't for the faint of heart (or high of morales), she is funny, crude, and clearly cruel to her friends and family. While this book is written in a series of recollections from her family, friends and co-workers, it still has some laugh out loud moments over quotes and pranks that you know could only have come from the twisted mind of Chelsea Handler. It's also a great book to get an idea for some pranks - if you happen to be a weathly individual who consorts with celebrities and has their own TV show.

Although 95% of this book wasn't written by Chelsea Handler I still thoroughly enjoyed it. Many of the stories that were written by her friends and family (and other victims) have a similar sense of humour. I would recommend it, but not as hilarious as the books written by her.

Such a disappointment and nothing like her books since she didn't really write any of it. There was only 2 stories I found funny, but clever way to share her wealth amongst her friends.

If you have ever seen Chelsea Handler's show, she is a love her or hate her character. And even if you love her, you can only take so much of her. I would like to think that most of these stories are exaggerated, because if they aren't, I am not sure I would even want to be friends with Handler. That being said, some of the pranks she pulls on people are hilarious reading from the safety of your own living room. This is a must read for people that like their humour with a cruel streak.

Handler is a comic, a television host, an author (Chelsea Chelsea Bang Bang, Are You There Vodka? It’s Me, Chelsea) and – most important in this case – an inveterate, compulsive practical joker. This book, which purports to be written by her friends, family and co-workers, rounds up the fake e-mails, phony smuggling schemes, made-up pregnancies, bogus sports bets she has inflicted on those who love her, or like her, or even just hang out around her, including roommates, siblings, casual sex partners and even her dog. It is a litany of tricks played, lies told and humiliations caused. “Am I pleased with myself?” Handler writes in her introduction. “Sort of, but I am definitely not proud.”
