Sumptious brain food !! I found this series to be the most exciting and interesting thinking about human history that I've run accross since Jared Diamond's 'Guns,Germs.and Steel' !! (4-14-14: 0 ; 4-15: 8 ; 4-16: 17 ;4-18: 22)
This was a really fascinating series - I wish it had been longer. I learned so much about things that I never thought would interest me, starting with trade winds. A great way to explore the intimate relationship between our species and the planet.
Excellent documentary about how the Earth was formed.
Last episode covers global warming. Starts off saying that one area that was warmed was excellent for plants. Then the narrator continues on that global warming is bad; but clearly there are some winners with it.
Well worth watching!
In simple words, logic, historical facts and high definition graphic, this DVD set is entertaining and clearly make the points about the effects of nature and human histories.
