Some great, easy recipes. A good book to use especially if you're just getting started in the vegan world. However, I felt the format was not user friendly. I know the book is about the health benefits of different coloured foods, but I don't want to have to search an entire book every time I want to find something to make for supper. I like to browse books to find new things to try rather than having a dish or ingredient in mind that I can look up in the index. Despite what I said previously I have now decided to purchase this book!! (Dec. 2015)

Wonderful! I now know what to buy my sisters for Christmas this year! Inspiring & healthy recipes I will use, however, I still plan to cook a side order of meat in my crock pot

What an awesome book! Even if you are not vegan, you will learn why "eating the rainbow" has positive repercussions for your health and well-being. With great nutritional information about each "color" of foods (did you know that bananas actually have some blue in them?), you will be inspired to eat a wider variety of foods every day. Her recipes are generally straight-forward and always delicious. From main courses to appetizers to breakfast to dessert, everything is beautifully photographed and not too difficult. Her kale chip recipe will have you hooked on greens!

The format is a bit disorienting until you figure it out, but the book is beautiful.

With a gorgeous layout and interesting recipes, this cookbook adds more than just colour inspiration! I appreciate the nutritional info for each recipe and other fun facts throughout the book. My recipe recommendation to try is the beet burgers - super satisfying and delicious.
