I liked the book, but I would agree that it is very in depth in regards to prison think. It was almost too much for my sensitive delicacies.

My second book by this author. Still I'm not impressed. The first half is so boring that you have to be a convict to appreciate the detail, probably. It starts to get better when "Sugar" heads down to Florida. And then it bogs down again into pure drivel. I don't think I'll be reading any Vachss for quite some time. NOT recommended.
