Michelle Pfeiffer had a hard time trying to convince me that having been a Marine and now teaching inner city with all those derelicts, she easily cowered in the beginning. Her voice was terrible, absolutely terrible. No wonder those students were eating her alive. It wasn't until she developed some kind of back bone that she was able to get through to them and actually develop a rapport.
The principal was an absolute joke with his rigidity of knocking on the door. Did he forget where he was teaching? That was almost laughable.
