Amazing book. At times the book made me very uncomfortable with terms like "nigger" and " cholas" (which until reading the book had no idea it was an offensive term to describe mexicans. I understand that racism was heavily present during that time period but it was unbearable to read. Jason's story was actually outstanding that it would have been better by itself.

A well-written story. Makes you like and connect with both characters, no matter how much you hate their actions.

Quite a violent roller coaster. Surprised myself, had to finish it .
