Excellent Story.
Two plots: one with Hester and one with Monk; both equally good and in Anne Perry's style - she deals with the story in manner which is appropriate to the time of the story.

What I enjoyed most - was the story of the Black Plague - how it was feared and the catalyst it played in moving the plot along.
