A riveting movie that will leave you squirming on your couch. Appreciated the depiction of how each of the parents dealt with the situation in a gender specific manner and how much conflict this caused.

Who knew Ross could direct? David Schwimmer does a brilliant job directing this punch you in the gut film. The actors give equally amazing performances. This hard hitting drama goes beyond living up to expectations. Painful and poignant . It must be said that Liana Liberato gives probably the best from the gut and heart performance i have seen in quite a while.

Part cautionary tale and part titillation this is a sad story which rings true for the most part. This movie is not just about protecting your family or daughter -- it's also about a level of discomfort which I think a lot of people have about sexuality.

The adult predator could have been played a little more intelligently and with more sexual finesse. Too much emphasis was put on innocence with the teenage girl and it was not believable.

Well made movie. Directed by David Schwimmer from Friends. Clive Owen does a good job with difficult material. A lot of facts make the movie informative, too.

I watched this and I thought of how much one is exposed as a teen. I still remember hearing my parents tell me that I shouldnt be so naive when exchanging information with people on line. It was; what 15 years ago? Back then nothing like facebook existed. Chats and so on. Anyway, I feel that our teens are becoming more and more bold about the dangers out there. I believe one needs to still aware that there are predators on the other side of the screen.

“Trust” felt like a Lifetime movie. It might appeal to teens, parents or anyone working with young people. Otherwise, don’t bother.

Powerful storytelling and direction are reminiscent of Ordinary People, save that here you can see it developing. And feel absolutely powerless. That feeling can only hint at how parents must feel when a child has been molested. If you have young children, don't watch this before bedtime or say good night to sleep.

Excellent !! ...and uncomfortable to watch.
The goofy nerd from the T.V. series has taken a pitch-perfect script and an exceptionable cast and hit this one out of the ballpark ! Director David Schwimmer (from "Friends")
has a history of activist action with these issues, and his commitment shows in this remarkable and important film.
